I am Cindy Mitchell, designer and creator of Gem Designs.

All of my work is handcrafted. I love working with semi-precious stones in various shades and cuts and mixing them with sterling silver beads, gold and fresh water pearls. Finding interesting colour combinations is fun and sometimes challenging.

I create fine and delicate jewellery along with larger pieces that will make a statement. I also use Thai silver, some hand blown glass beads, Swarovski crystals and larger beads in different shapes made from various types of oysters and nautical shells.
